Phonotrope installation: record player with subtle strobe effect lamp by Guus Mertens: device for optical effect of animated discs (based on inventions of Joseph Plateau)

The Phonotrope project was presented in the wheel chamber of the tide mill in Rupelmonde. Children (and adults) could produce a personal phonotrope effect by using our collection of stamps on a template A3-paper (and cut out the circle).
