Pop-up exhibition at Musea aan het Park (MAP), Sint-Niklaas to celebrate the re-opening of the Mercatormuseum (cartography). December 19th 2025 – January 4th 2026.

The exhibition focusses on the Blauwhaus Wonderzoekscentrum residency project and artistic research on the figure of Mercator which started in 2023 in Rupelmonde. The exhibition takes the audience on a discovery tour from A (Ampersand) to Z (Zonnekrompas). For the scenography Wim Wauman repurposed the old bookstands from the former museum as a structure to present the works, ideas and output of the residency project. A two-volume publication documents the project.
