I have always been a collector of ‘inspirational objects’ and charismatic or enigmatic artifacts which inspire me, trigger my imagination, and could serve as (meaningful) ingredients for (still life) compositions. The growing collection resonates with … and shapes the narrative and conceptual framework for Blauwhausprojects.

There was a time when I combined the objects as resonating motifs in a photographic composition but since a fews years the curated selection of physical objets trouvés has increasingly been put to the fore. Blauwhaus installations, interventions and exhibitions often include the presentation of the ‘Blauwhaus collection’ on veneered tables or in ‘curiosity cabinets’.
